| Little Dragons Karate for New and Transfer Students
- Level 1 |
Learn effective self-defense through Isshin-Ryu Karate.
This class will introduce new and transfer students ages 5 to 7 to
the fundamentals of Isshin-Ryu Karate, with a strong emphasis on self-discipline
and respect. Students should wear a t-shirt and sweatpants.
Prerequisite: New students and students transferring from a different school must complete this class first. You can not enter Levels 2 or 3 without completing Level 1. |
| Little Dragons
Karate - Level 2 |
This class is for students ages 5 to 7 who have first
completed the Level 1 class. Students will continue learning Isshin-Ryu
Karate with a strong emphasis on self-discipline and respect. All
students will be required to purchase a uniform through the instructor.
Prerequisite: Students must first complete the Little Dragons Level 1 Class. New and transfer students can not enter this class. |
| Little Dragons Karate - Level 3 |
This class is for students ages 5 to 7 who have graduated
from the Level 2 class. Students will continue learning Isshin-Ryu
Karate with a strong emphasis on self-discipline and respect.
Prerequisite: Students must first graduate from the Little Dragons Level 2 Class. New and transfer students can not enter. |
| Youth Karate for New Students, Transfer
Students and White Belts - Level A |
Learn effective self-defense through Isshin-Ryu
Karate. This class will introduce new and transfer students ages 8
to 13 to the fundamentals of Isshin-Ryu Karate, with a strong emphasis
on self-discipline and respect. White Belt students ages 8 to 13 will
continue learning Isshin-Ryu Karate to work towards their first belt
promotion. New and transfer students should wear a t-shirt and sweatpants.
Prerequisite: New students, students transferring from a different school, and white belt students must graduate from this class first. You can not enter Levels B or C without graduating from Level A. |
| Youth Karate for Yellow and Orange
Belts - Level B |
This class is for students ages 8 to 13 who have graduated
from the Level A class. Students will continue learning Isshin-Ryu
Karate with a strong emphasis on self-discipline and respect.
Prerequisite: Students must first graduate from the Youth Level A Class. New and transfer students can not enter this class. |
| Youth Karate for Blue, Purple, Green and Brown Belts
- Level C |
This class is for students ages 8 to 13 who have graduated
from the Level B class. Students will continue learning Isshin-Ryu
Karate with a strong emphasis on self-discipline and respect.
Prerequisite: Students must first graduate from the Youth Level B Class. New and transfer students can not enter this class. |
| Adult Karate: | Learn effective self-defense through Isshin-Ryu Karate. This class is for both new and returning students ages 14 and up. Students will learn the required techniques, forms, weapons and sparring techniques to progress through the Isshin-Ryu Karate rank structure, while also learning practical, essential self-defense techniques versus both unarmed and armed attacks. New students should wear a t-shirt and sweatpants for this class. Returning students will be required to purchase a uniform through the instructor. |
| Black Belt Club: | This class is extended training for those students who have shown exceptional attitude, class attendance, and personal commitment towards earning their Black Belt. Students are admitted to this class only through invitation from the instructor. Students admitted to this class must be enrolled in Youth Intermediate or Advanced class, or the Wednesday Adult class, and must hold the minimum rank of Orange belt. Youth and Adult Black Belt Club alternates each week. |
